When any of your packages, including Slovenská pošta, is out for delivery, you’ll see it in the Dynamic Island, on your home screen widget and in your notifications. Your package keeps you posted before you even ask.

Incoming and outgoing, separated
Packages you receive and packages you send sit in separate tabs, filtered by status.
Slovenská pošta, or Slovak Post, is the postal service of Slovakia. Besides post offices, it has BalíkoBOX lockers. Its tracking page and mobile app do more than show status, since Slovak Post says you can use them to change delivery options after entering your item number.
Items from outside the EU have to go through customs clearance, and Slovak Post runs its own clearance departments in Bratislava and Košice. You can authorize it to represent you, then upload documents through tracking, the app or email. From 1 July 2025, it says the customs declaration requires the recipient’s national ID number, so enter it carefully.
Kargo Radar reads Slovak Post’s public tracking data and shows the English text it supplies. The overall status comes from the event codes and Slovak Post’s own summary state. Check digits are verified, so a typo is usually caught right away. Kargo Radar is an independent app and isn’t affiliated with Slovenská pošta.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

A number from another country’s post, for items coming to Slovakia. Choose Slovenská pošta to look it up here.
The tracking page calls it číslo zásielky. Enter the 13 characters without spaces, including the two letters at each end.
Numbers ending in SK are detected as Slovak Post. Foreign numbers aren’t, because they’d normally go to the sending country’s post, so keep this page’s form selected for them.
See where your package is in a few steps, and hear about it when the status changes.
Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has Slovenská pošta selected and takes you straight to the results.
Some Slovenská pošta numbers are recognized from their format. For the rest, choose Slovenská pošta from the carrier list in the app or on the tracking page.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
Slovak Post’s English event text:
Slovak Post’s customer service handles tracking questions and complaints, and customs matters go to its clearance departments by email. If you were out when a courier came, its delivery services page explains free redelivery and how to authorize another adult to collect for you.
Its complaint process asks for a scan of the posting receipt, so the sender is usually the one to file it. Slovak Post also publishes fraud warnings, worth reading if you get a message asking for payment. Kargo Radar can’t upload customs documents, change delivery or file a complaint for you.
Answers to common questions about Slovenská pošta packages.
Enter the 13-character item number in the form above. You’ll see the English events with dates and places, plus an overall status. Saving the item in the Kargo Radar app gives you a notification when that status changes.
The sender gets it when posting the item, and online shops usually include it in the shipping message. Domestic numbers end in SK. An item from abroad usually carries the sending country’s code instead.
They’re as current as Slovak Post’s data when you search, because Kargo Radar queries it for each lookup. An item that’s been moved without a scan won’t show any change until the next one.
A typo is the usual reason, and a wrong check digit means the number is rejected. Sometimes a sender has been assigned a number but hasn’t posted the item, and we treat that as not found too. Check again after a day or ask the sender.
Slovak Post says to authorize it to represent you and supply documents, as early as possible and with specific descriptions of the goods. Items are stored for 18 days from the customs notice, and it’s possible to request an extension by email.
Yes. Slovak Post says that if you weren’t reached, you can have the item delivered again free of charge. Items wait at the post office for up to 30 days, and the mobile app lets you extend the pickup period.
Yes. Slovak Post says to send its “Vyjadrenie nesúhlasu” form at least 48 hours before the item reaches Slovakia, then complete clearance through the Finance Administration’s e-commerce portal. Commercial shipments over 150 euros need a customs declarant.
