About Geniki Taxydromiki
Geniki Taxydromiki (Γενική Ταχυδρομική) is a Greek courier that says it has been delivering since 1994. It reports about 265 stores in Greece, including 28 branches in Athens and Thessaloniki, plus 6 regional sorting centers. It also lists 6 stores in Cyprus, 13 in Bulgaria and one in Romania.
Its charter explains what happens when nobody’s home. The courier leaves a written notice, the parcel goes back to the branch, and at least one more attempt normally follows, unless you pick a locker or another point instead. Cash collected from a recipient goes into the bank account the sender gave at pickup, the company’s FAQ says.
Kargo Radar asks Geniki’s tracking service for the English version of your events and shows them in Greek local time, with the service point where each one happened. The consignee’s name isn’t read. Geniki Taxydromiki doesn’t run or endorse Kargo Radar, which is why claims and delivery changes have to go to the courier directly.

- The package is moving between facilities, countries or customs.
- Out for delivery
- The package is out for delivery, or it’s waiting to be collected at a branch, post office or pickup point.
- Delivered
- The package was handed to the recipient or collected from the pickup point.
- Delivery failed
- A delivery was attempted but not completed. The carrier’s next step shows up in the event history.
- Returned
- The package is on its way back to the sender, or it has already been returned.

- Delivery information has been recorded against the voucher. We’ve seen it as the last step on a delivered parcel.
Geniki Taxydromiki customer support
The FAQ tells you to contact the store that serves you and quote the tracking number. That covers a parcel that’s late, damaged or undelivered. If you want compensation, Geniki says you need to state it within 20 days of the pickup day. You can also complain through its online complaint form or in writing at a branch, and the charter promises a reasoned written reply within 15 working days.
If your parcel is stuck at the shop’s end, ask the shop rather than the courier. Kargo Radar can’t reschedule delivery or send a parcel to a store for you.

Why is my voucher not found?
Geniki returns no checkpoints for a voucher it doesn’t recognize. Check the digits and remove any spaces. New labels can take a little while to appear, so ask the sender to confirm the number if it stays missing.
What does “Attempted Delivery - Delivery Rescheduled” mean?
The courier came but couldn’t hand it over. A written notice should have been left and the parcel returned to the branch. Another attempt normally follows, or you can contact the store about another option.
How long does Geniki hold a parcel for collection?
After notifying you, its charter says the parcel stays available for 48 hours, with an extra 24 hours for lockers. Items that can’t be delivered at all are kept for six months after the final attempt, and storage charges may apply.
