When any of your packages, including Oman Post, is out for delivery, you’ll see it in the Dynamic Island, on your home screen widget and in your notifications. Your package keeps you posted before you even ask.

Packages you receive and packages you send sit in separate tabs, filtered by status.
Oman Post calls itself Oman’s national postal operator and the postal arm of Asyad Group, which it joined in 2016. Its own timeline traces postal services back to 1856, with Oman Post formally established in 2005. Its site lists PO boxes, parcels of up to 30 kg and Express Mail among its services.
If your item is waiting at a post office, there’s a time limit. Oman Post describes PO boxes as special lockers in mail offices, and its FAQ sets out how long incoming international items are held: 10 days for Express Mail and 30 days for registered and parcel mail. That makes it worth checking your tracking once an item has arrived in the country.
Kargo Radar gets its data from Oman Post’s own tracking system. Events use English postal industry names, and you can look up foreign numbers for items coming to Oman, not just numbers ending in OM. Some locations appear as a six-letter international office code rather than a town. We show the time local to the place where the event happened.
Our service is independent, and Oman Post and Asyad Group have no involvement in Kargo Radar.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

Oman Post’s FAQ says that for a delayed shipment you should ask the seller for the update and the tracking number. Your order number from an online shop won’t work.
International numbers ending in OM are recognized automatically and looked up with Oman Post, and the app saves them under “International Post.” A foreign number would be checked with its home country’s post, so if you want the Omani steps, search with this form, where Oman Post is already selected.
See where your package is in a few steps, and hear about it when the status changes.
Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has Oman Post selected and takes you straight to the results.
Some Oman Post numbers are recognized from their format. For the rest, choose Oman Post from the carrier list in the app or on the tracking page.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
Oman Post lists postal industry event names, in English. In everyday words, they mean:
For a delayed item, Oman Post’s advice is to contact the seller first. Its call center is on 1001 inside Oman, and the number for callers abroad is on its contact page. Use the form on that page for damaged, wrong or missing shipments, or to ask for proof of delivery. Oman Post says it replies within two working days.
Refunds depend on the terms of the service you used, so check those with Oman Post. Kargo Radar shows tracking only: we can’t release, redirect or claim for a parcel.
Answers to common questions about Oman Post packages.
Paste the number in the form on this page and press search. The list starts with the newest event, showing the office and local time for each one.
For something you posted, look at your post office receipt. For an online order, Oman Post says the tracking number comes from your merchant, so check your order email or ask the seller.
We fetch the record from Oman Post every time you look up a number, so it matches what Oman Post holds at that moment. Gaps can appear on international trips, since a parcel isn’t scanned while it’s travelling between countries.
The reply “no data found” usually means a typing mistake or an item that hasn’t reached Oman yet. If it’s coming from abroad, check the sending country’s post until it arrives. A few days after the expected arrival, ask the seller to confirm the number.
For incoming international items, Oman Post’s FAQ gives 10 days for Express Mail and 30 days for registered and parcel mail. Collect it as early as you can.
Yes. Oman Post’s FAQ asks for an authorization letter and a copy of your ID. Your friend should take both along.
Oman Post’s FAQ says a shipment may be held in customs because it’s a prohibited item, and that you should call 1001 for details. Have your tracking number with you when you call.
