When any of your packages, including GLS France, is out for delivery, you’ll see it in the Dynamic Island, on your home screen widget and in your notifications. Your package keeps you posted before you even ask.

Incoming and outgoing, separated
Packages you receive and packages you send sit in separate tabs, filtered by status.
GLS France delivers parcels to homes and to pick-up points that it calls GLS Relays. Its help pages list partner networks including Mondial Relay, Pickme, lockers and Relais Colis. If you’re out, GLS says the driver first tries a trusted neighbour or concierge, then possibly a nearby Relay.
GLS treats two numbers differently. The parcel number has 8 characters or 11 figures, while the notification card number, also called Track-ID, has 5 or 6 characters and is left in your letterbox or sent by email or text when delivery fails.
Kargo Radar asks the GLS France recipient service for the 8-character number. GLS sends only status codes, so the English descriptions you read here were written by Kargo Radar, based on the meanings GLS shows. Depot names appear where available. Other countries’ GLS parcels aren’t covered by this page. We’re independent from GLS and unconnected with the group.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

The 11-figure number and the short 5 or 6 character card number don’t work in this form. Use GLS’s own tracking page for those, along with your postcode.
A short code of 8 letters and digits could belong to any GLS country or another carrier, so it isn’t detected automatically. Here GLS France is already selected.

Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has GLS France selected and takes you straight to the results.
GLS France numbers look like other carriers’ numbers, so Kargo Radar doesn’t guess. Choose GLS France from the carrier list in the app or on the tracking page.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
You’ll see these descriptions in the event history:
For delivery questions, GLS’s recipient service is on 09 74 910 910, or use its contact form. To change a delivery, use the “Modifier ma livraison” link in GLS’s own tracking. The options depend on the offer and on what the sender allows.
For a lost parcel, a refund or compensation, GLS says your request must go directly to the sender. That includes a parcel marked delivered that you didn’t get, where GLS asks you to send the sender a claim with a sworn statement. Kargo Radar can’t reschedule or file claims.
Answers to common questions about GLS France packages.
Type the 8-character parcel number into the form. There’s no postcode to enter, and you’ll see each event with its time and, usually, the depot town.
GLS says FlexDeliveryService customers get it in the delivery-window email or text. Otherwise, look in the sender’s order confirmation email.
It reflects what GLS France reports at the moment you search. A driver’s handheld scan can come later than the real event, so a parcel may have moved on already.
The most common reason here is using a number in another format, such as the 11-figure one or the short card number. Check the 8-character code, and remember that this page only reads parcels on the GLS France network.
GLS’s FAQ gives 5 days for its Mondial Relay partner and 8 days for other points such as Pickme, lockers and Relais Colis. After that, it goes back to the sender.
No. Its 5 or 6 character reference only works on GLS’s site, where it lets you reschedule or follow the parcel. Enter your 8-character parcel number here instead.
The Kargo Radar app can do that. Add the parcel number and you’ll hear when its status changes, without paying anything.
