About Aramex Australia

Aramex Australia began here as Fastway Couriers, which started operating in Australia in 1993. It later joined Aramex and launched under the new name in 2019, so older labels and older advice may still say Fastway. The company says its network includes 29 regional franchises and more than 800 franchise partners, from Cairns to Perth.

The franchise setup shapes how you get help. Your parcel may pass between a pickup franchise and a delivery franchise, each with local depots and couriers. Delivery choices include Authority to Leave, Signature, Secure PIN and Click & Collect, and a courier may use a safe place or a Collection Point when nobody’s home. Deliveries run during business hours, Monday to Friday, says Aramex.

Kargo Radar reads the data behind Aramex Australia’s Track tool, including the estimated date while the parcel is on its way. Scans are in English. Each one is given in a franchise’s local time, which we convert using the franchise’s clock, so a scan can be up to an hour out during daylight saving. This page only covers Australia. Kargo Radar isn’t connected to Aramex and acts as an independent tracker.

What do Aramex Australia tracking numbers look like?

You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

Label number

Example format

AB1234567890

Two letters, or a letter and a digit, followed by 10 digits. New Zealand labels look the same, so choose the right country page.

20-digit SSCC

Example format

00123456789012345678

A long barcode number that starts with 00 and is used on some labels.

Copy the number exactly as it appears on the label or in the email. Letters matter, and so does the country.

Is the carrier detected automatically?

Aramex labels share a format across Australia and New Zealand, and resemble other carriers’ numbers, so they’re never detected automatically. This page’s form already has Aramex Australia selected.

How to track Aramex Australia packages with Kargo Radar

See where your package is in a few steps, and hear about it when the status changes.

  1. 01

    Enter the number

Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has Aramex Australia selected and takes you straight to the results.

  2. 02

    Pick the carrier

Aramex Australia numbers look like other carriers’ numbers, so Kargo Radar doesn’t guess. Choose Aramex Australia from the carrier list in the app or on the tracking page.

  3. 03

    Follow every event

Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.

  4. 04

    Get notified

Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.

What do the tracking statuses mean?

Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.

Shipped
The carrier has registered the shipment or picked it up from the sender. It may not have left yet.
In transit
The package is moving between facilities, countries or customs.
Out for delivery
The package is out for delivery, or it’s waiting to be collected at a branch, post office or pickup point.
Delivered
The package was handed to the recipient or collected from the pickup point.
Delivery failed
A delivery was attempted but not completed. The carrier’s next step shows up in the event history.
Returned
The package is on its way back to the sender, or it has already been returned.

Good to know about Aramex Australia statuses

What Aramex Australia’s status wording means:

Tracking number allocated
Aramex says the sender has a label but it hasn’t collected the parcel yet.
Picked up from sender
A courier has collected the parcel.
Your parcel is in our care
It’s in the Aramex network.
Delivery delayed
It’s running late. Aramex publishes wider delays on its Service Updates page.
Onboard for delivery
It’s on the courier’s vehicle for delivery.
Out of time today
The courier ran out of time on the round, so the delivery slips to a later date.
Missed delivery
Nobody could receive it and a calling card was left. See the redelivery steps below.

Aramex Australia customer support

For a late or missing parcel, Aramex says to track it first and then lodge its online enquiry form. Calling card holders can book a redelivery on the Calling Card Left page, or ask for a different address within five kilometres for a fee. For damage, contact the sender and lodge an enquiry within 24 hours. Your local depot may be able to talk through timing if you’re only home at certain hours.

Without a label number, your first stop is the sender. Be wary of texts or emails asking you to pay. Aramex says it never charges you to collect from a depot or Collection Point, and that its genuine links go to aramex.com.au or aramex.co.nz. Kargo Radar can’t book a redelivery or open an enquiry, since those only happen with Aramex.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Aramex Australia packages.

How do I track an Aramex Australia parcel?

Use the form above with your label number and keep Aramex Australia selected. You’ll see the scans, the delivery date estimate if one exists, and the status. If your label still says Fastway, it’s tracked the same way.

Where do I find an Aramex label number?

Aramex says you can’t track without a tracking or label number, and that you should contact the sender if you don’t have one. Check the shipping email, or the calling card if a courier left one.

Does this page show Aramex’s latest scan?

It requests the record from Aramex at the moment you search and shows the result. Aramex itself notes scan details can take up to 48 hours to appear, so the parcel may be further along than the history says.

My Aramex label isn’t found. Why?

Aramex tells you to check that the number was entered correctly. A label that has no scans yet comes back as not found, which is common just after the sender creates it. If your parcel was sent from New Zealand, try the Aramex New Zealand page instead.

How do I get redelivery after a calling card?

Go to Aramex’s Calling Card Left page and pick a date for delivery to the original address. For a re-direction, the page asks for photo ID, the addressee to be present to sign, and an email or mobile number. Aramex also warns that it can’t promise a specific time.

Where will my parcel be left if I’m not home?

Aramex lists places such as a covered front door well back from the road, the side of the house, a letterbox, or a concierge. Otherwise it goes to the nearest Collection Point, and you’ll be told to collect it.

Is Aramex Australia the same as Fastway or global Aramex?

Fastway Couriers became Aramex Australia, so an old Fastway label belongs on this page. The global Aramex service at aramex.com is separate, and its international waybills aren’t read through this page.
