Correos is Spain’s national postal service. It delivers letters and parcels across Spain, including the Canary and Balearic Islands, and handles international mail.
Correos dates back to 1716 and is the operator appointed by law to provide the universal postal service throughout Spain. When a delivery attempt fails, Correos now sends a text message or email instead of a paper notice, and the item can be collected at the post office from the day after that message. Parcels can also go to “Citypaq” smart lockers, found near homes and workplaces and in busy places such as supermarkets, gas stations and shopping centers.
Correos Express, the group’s express parcel company, uses its own numbers. Choose Correos Express in the carrier list for those.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

Parcel and shipment codes end in a check letter, so copy the code exactly as it appears in your email or on the receipt.
All three Correos formats are recognized automatically and looked up with Correos, so you can paste the number into any Kargo Radar search box.
See where your package is in a few steps, and hear about it when the status changes.
Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has Correos selected and takes you straight to the results.
Paste the number into the search box on the home page or into the Kargo Radar app, and the carrier is recognized from the number’s format.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
To report a problem, use Correos’s queries and complaints form or go to any Correos office. Correos says compensation always goes to the sender, unless the sender signs a request authorizing payment to the recipient. So if an order is lost, ask the sender to claim.
If a Paquete Internacional Premium arrives damaged, tell the postal employee before you sign and ask for a damage report. Then contact the sender, who makes the claim. Kargo Radar reads tracking only, so it can’t lodge a Correos complaint for you.
Answers to common questions about Correos packages.
Paste your Correos tracking number into the form on this page. Kargo Radar looks it up in Correos’ tracking system and lists each event with its date and local time (Canary Islands time for events there).
Correos records an event when the item is scanned at an office or sorting center, so there can be a day or more between updates. International items can also wait for customs before the next event appears.
Correos is the national postal service; Correos Express is its express parcel company with separate tracking numbers. Use this page for Correos numbers and choose Correos Express in the carrier list for theirs.
At a post office, yes: bring an original, valid photo ID, such as a Spanish ID card, a residence permit or another photo ID valid in your country. Someone else can collect it with your signed authorization, their own ID and a copy of yours, except for restricted deliveries. At a Citypaq locker or a collection point, you don’t need ID or a signature, only the single-use 8-digit PIN that Correos sends by text message, email or app notification.
Correos says that if it can’t deliver a parcel after two attempts, it sends another text message and tries once more within 24 hours. If that fails too, a text message names the post office that has the parcel, and you have 15 days from the day after that message to collect it. The holding period depends on the product, and items that aren’t collected in time go back to the sender.
