Kazpost (Казпочта, also branded QazPost) is Kazakhstan’s national operator for postal and financial services. Its corporate contacts page lists a central office in Astana and branches across the regions.
Kazpost offers tracking on its website and a dedicated tracking service at track.kazpost.kz, and it also points customers to its mobile app and the @KazPostBot Telegram bot. Parcels can go to a post office or a postamat, which is an automated parcel locker. Its tracking pages ask you to call the contact center to arrange delivery to a postamat.
Kargo Radar uses Kazpost’s public tracking service. That service returns event codes without text, so Kargo Radar turns them into English using the wording in Kazpost’s own Russian dictionary. A few internal codes aren’t shown. Times are Kazakhstan local time, and any recipient details are left out. Kargo Radar isn’t run by Kazpost and can’t act on its behalf.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

The same shape, ending in the sending country’s code. Kazpost shows these once they’re in its system.
Your seller may give you a number that belongs to their own carrier. If it doesn’t fit this shape, ask for the postal number.
Numbers ending in KZ are identified as Kazpost right away. Mail from abroad ends in another code and isn’t claimed automatically, so select Kazpost for it; the form on this page does that for you.
See where your package is in a few steps, and hear about it when the status changes.
Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has Kazpost selected and takes you straight to the results.
Paste the number into the search box on the home page or into the Kargo Radar app, and the carrier is recognized from the number’s format.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
Kazpost publishes codes rather than text. These are the English wordings Kargo Radar shows for common ones:
Kazpost’s single contact center is 1499, which its tracking pages say is free to call within Kazakhstan. It handles customs holds and postamat delivery. For a postamat, you’ll be asked for the item number and your mobile number. The tracking site also gives 1499@kazpost.kz for written questions.
If a parcel from abroad is missing before it reaches Kazakhstan, the seller or sending post is the right first contact. Kargo Radar can’t release an item from customs, arrange a postamat or lodge a complaint.
Answers to common questions about Kazpost packages.
Type your number into the form at the top. It works for numbers ending in KZ and for foreign postal numbers on items heading to Kazakhstan.
A receipt from the post office shows it if you sent the item. For an online order, it’s in the seller’s shipping details. Kazpost also calls it a “трек-номер” on its Russian pages.
Yes, in the sense that Kargo Radar asks Kazpost at the moment you look. It can still lag behind reality, because a parcel in a sorting center or on a truck isn’t updated until the next code is recorded.
Kazpost’s tracking site says one common reason is that the item hasn’t reached Kazakhstan yet. Try the sending post’s site as well, and check the number again. It can take some time for foreign items to appear.
Kazpost’s tracking pages tell you to call contact center 1499, which can explain why the parcel was held and how to resolve it. Have your number ready. Kargo Radar only shows the customs code.
Call 1499 with the item number and your mobile number, as Kazpost’s tracking page asks. Kargo Radar will still show when it arrives, as “Awaiting the recipient at the pickup point”.
Kazpost’s English labels don’t always line up with its Russian ones, so Kargo Radar bases its wording on the Russian dictionary. That means our text can differ slightly from what you see on Kazpost’s English pages.
