Look up a 4-72 item with its 13-character number. You’ll see each postal scan with the office that made it, plus an overall status in English.
Enter your 13-character 4-72 number
When any of your packages, including 4-72, is out for delivery, you’ll see it in the Dynamic Island, on your home screen widget and in your notifications. Your package keeps you posted before you even ask.

Incoming and outgoing, separated
Packages you receive and packages you send sit in separate tabs, filtered by status.
4-72 is the trading name of Servicios Postales Nacionales S.A., and its site calls it Colombia’s official postal operator. Besides letters and parcels, it lists money orders, corporate and e-commerce services, and a virtual mailbox service, the Casillero Virtual.
Not everything 4-72 carries can be followed. Its FAQ says ordinary mail isn’t tracked item by item, and that certified mail has a 13-character number. If your item was sent as ordinary mail, no lookup will show it.
Kargo Radar reads 4-72’s public tracking service each time you search. Events stay in the original Spanish, with times in Colombian local time. A delivered item often shows “En proceso de devolución a remitente” afterwards, because the signed proof of delivery travels back to the sender; Kargo Radar keeps such items marked as delivered. Kargo Radar is independent and isn’t affiliated with 4-72.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

Same pattern, but the last two letters name the origin country. 4-72 can show these once they reach Colombia.
Type the letters and digits with no spaces. The number is on your receipt or in the sender’s shipping message.
Numbers ending in CO are recognized automatically and looked up with 4-72. For an item mailed to Colombia from another country, choose 4-72 yourself; the form on this page already has it selected.

Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has 4-72 selected and takes you straight to the results.
Some 4-72 numbers are recognized from their format. For the rest, choose 4-72 from the carrier list in the app or on the tracking page.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
4-72 publishes its events in Spanish. These come up often, and the wording isn’t always obvious:
For a missing or delayed item, use 4-72’s PQR form (petitions, complaints and claims) or its contact channels, with your number ready. The person who posted the item holds the receipt, so a sender abroad may need to start a claim with their own postal service.
If your parcel is waiting on customs tax, 4-72’s FAQ explains the payment and the documents to bring. Kargo Radar can only show the scans. It can’t pay duties, rearrange a delivery or open a claim for you.
Answers to common questions about 4-72 packages.
Enter the 13-character number in the form above. The results list every scan from 4-72 with the operating office. No account is needed.
Check the receipt from the post office, or the shipping message from your seller. A number ending in CO was posted in Colombia. If it ends in other letters, it was posted abroad and only appears with 4-72 after arrival.
Each search asks 4-72 for its current record, so you see what 4-72 reports right now. A parcel can have moved further than that, because the record only changes when someone scans it.
First check the characters, since O and 0 are easy to mix up. Ordinary mail has no item tracking at all. An item coming from abroad won’t appear until Colombia receives it, so try the origin postal service in the meantime.
That line usually means the signed delivery document is on its way back to the sender. If “Entregado” comes before it, your parcel was delivered. Kargo Radar doesn’t change the status to returned in that case.
4-72’s FAQ says it collects duty and VAT on behalf of the customs authority, DIAN, when they apply. A failed attempt marked “Pendiente pago de impuesto aduanero” points to this. The FAQ warns that goods can be declared abandoned if payment is late, so act on the notice quickly.
