InPost is a parcel company best known for its parcel lockers, called Paczkomat in Poland. Parcels are delivered by courier or to a locker the recipient chooses.
The group’s parent company, InPost S.A., is incorporated in Luxembourg. InPost’s status descriptions outline the route: after “Picked up from Sender,” most parcels stop at InPost’s Main Sorting Facility and are then “Sent from the Sorting Facility” to the recipient’s town. InPost says a parcel that’s “Handed over for delivery” reaches the recipient by the next working day at the latest.
Besides Poland, InPost operates in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and the Netherlands. Kargo Radar checks InPost’s Polish tracking system, so it works best for parcels handled by InPost in Poland.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

A 24-digit number made up of digits only.
If you copy the number from a text or email and it has spaces in it, that’s fine. Kargo Radar removes them.
A 24-digit number looks like numbers used by other carriers, so InPost isn’t detected automatically. In the app, pick InPost from the carrier list; the form on this page already has InPost selected.
See where your package is in a few steps, and hear about it when the status changes.
Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has InPost selected and takes you straight to the results.
InPost numbers look like other carriers’ numbers, so Kargo Radar doesn’t guess. Choose InPost from the carrier list in the app or on the tracking page.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
InPost’s complaint form asks whether you’re the sender, the recipient or the payer, then for the parcel number, the posting date and a description, ideally with photos. File one complaint per parcel, within 12 months of posting.
Under InPost’s terms, the sender holds the right to complain first. The recipient can do so once the parcel has been delivered or if the sender gives up the claim. A damage report (“Protokół szkody”) doesn’t start a complaint on its own, so send both. Kargo Radar only reads InPost’s status record and can’t submit either document.
Answers to common questions about InPost packages.
Paste your 24-digit InPost tracking number into the form on this page. Kargo Radar looks it up in InPost’s tracking system and lists the parcel’s events.
Paczkomat is the name of InPost’s parcel lockers in Poland. When your parcel is placed in a locker, InPost lets you know, and you collect it from the locker.
InPost numbers are 24 digits long and contain only numbers. Other carriers use similar numbers, so Kargo Radar doesn’t guess. Just choose InPost as the carrier.
InPost says the recipient gets the collection code by app notification, text message and e-mail when the parcel is placed in the locker. Near the deadline, the record can show “Reminder of a pending parcel,” and InPost says the stay can be extended for a fee in the InPost app. After “The deadline for collecting has passed,” a courier takes the parcel to an InPost branch (“Back to the branch”), and InPost says uncollected parcels are returned to the sender.
InPost says the recipient of a courier parcel can use a free rerouting option to have it delivered to an InPost parcel machine. The record then shows “Rerouted to parcel machine,” and the pickup details arrive by e-mail or text message. Kargo Radar checks hourly, and every 20 minutes while the parcel is out for delivery, and sends push notifications only; it doesn’t show the collection code or the locker on a map.
Yes. Tracking on Kargo Radar is free and doesn’t require an account. Save the package in the app to get a notification when its status changes.
