BRT, formerly known as Bartolini, is an Italian courier that delivers parcels across Italy. It is part of Geopost, the group behind DPD, so DPD parcels sent to Italy from other countries are often delivered by BRT.
BRT-fermopoint pickup points are newsstands, tobacconists, stationery shops, phone shops and other partner businesses across Italy. BRT says the recipient can choose the point that suits their schedule, with flexible hours and days for pickup, including weekends, and gets an email or text message when the parcel is ready. BRT also says it works with Geopost, which it calls the European leader in international parcel shipments, and with EuroExpress, a network for parcels and pallets.
Parcels can also be delivered to a BRT-fermopoint pickup point instead of the recipient’s address.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

The sender’s own ID for the parcel. Kargo Radar accepts 15-digit IDs, and BRT only answers these for shipments from the last two months.
BRT numbers contain only digits and look like other carriers’ numbers, so BRT isn’t detected automatically. Choose BRT from the carrier list; the form on this page already has it selected.
See where your package is in a few steps, and hear about it when the status changes.
Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has BRT selected and takes you straight to the results.
BRT numbers look like other carriers’ numbers, so Kargo Radar doesn’t guess. Choose BRT from the carrier list in the app or on the tracking page.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
As the recipient, you can use your BRTcode and security code on BRT’s website to change the date, time slot or address, or to choose a BRT-fermopoint or branch. An address change must be authorized by the sender.
BRT says only the sender can report damage. If you paid the transport costs yourself, use the contact form in BRT’s FAQ, with photos. Otherwise, tell the sender. Kargo Radar simply shows BRT’s events; rescheduling and damage reports have to go through BRT or the sender.
Answers to common questions about BRT packages.
Paste your BRTcode, shipment number or parcel ID into the form on this page. Kargo Radar works out which kind of number it is and looks it up with BRT.
BRT records an event at each depot and on the delivery round, so a parcel can go a day or so without a new event. A shipment that was only just created may show only “SHIPPING INFO SENT TO BRT” until BRT collects the parcel.
Often, yes. DPD parcels sent to Italy are usually delivered by BRT. If the DPD number doesn’t work here, use the BRT number from the delivery notice.
In the email or text message BRT sends when it takes charge of your parcel, on the BRT waybill, or on the notice the courier leaves after a missed delivery.
BRT says a parcel is held at the BRT-fermopoint for 10 days, and you’re told by email or text message when it arrives. BRT also says the service includes insurance cover.
Yes. BRT says the BRT-fermopoint network is meant both for collecting online purchases and for sending returns, and you can send a shipment of one parcel or up to 5 separate parcels from a BRT-fermopoint.
