Česká pošta (Czech Post) is the national postal operator of the Czech Republic. Its Balíkovna network lets you collect parcels at partner shops, post offices and parcel boxes.
Česká pošta is a state enterprise. Its Track & Trace covers registered letters, registered consignments, insured items, EMS and parcels such as Parcel to Hand (DR). Česká pošta says the number on an item from abroad may follow a format specific to the country of origin, and incoming international mail can also get an extra bridge code that starts with OC and ends with ZZ.
Česká pošta’s tracking gives the date of each event but not the time, so Kargo Radar lists events by day. History is kept for a limited time, and items mailed to Czechia from abroad can often be looked up with the sender’s international number.
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

Example format
RR123456789CZ
Two letters, nine digits and CZ. Registered letters handed in at a Czech post office use this format too.
Domestic parcel numbers such as DR… or BA… and numbers ending in CZ are recognized automatically. For other domestic formats and for items mailed to Czechia from another country, choose Česká pošta yourself; the form on this page already has it selected.
See where your package is in a few steps, and hear about it when the status changes.
Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. The form already has Česká pošta selected and takes you straight to the results.
Paste the number into the search box on the home page or into the Kargo Radar app, and the carrier is recognized from the number’s format.
Each scan is listed on a timeline with its date (and time, when the carrier provides one), and the overall status is summarized as one of six standard statuses.
Save the package to your list in the Kargo Radar app and you’ll get a notification on your phone when its status changes. Packages from other carriers sit in the same list.
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
Recipients claim damaged or missing contents at any post office, within two working days of delivery. Bring the shipment and its packaging, or clear photos. Customs clearance problems have their own PDF form, sent by email.
Senders claim non-arrival or late arrival, either online from Track Shipment, in the Pošta Online app or at a post office with the receipt. The limit is one year from posting for domestic items and six months for international ones. Kargo Radar is unable to raise a complaint with Česká pošta, so use those routes.
Answers to common questions about Česká pošta packages.
Paste your tracking number into the form on this page. Kargo Radar looks it up with Česká pošta and lists each event with its date and post office.
Česká pošta only shares the date of each event. Kargo Radar keeps the order of events within the day.
A new item may not have been scanned yet, and Česká pošta removes tracking history after a while. If the item was mailed from abroad, also try the sender’s number on this page.
Only partly. Česká pošta says that what its tracking shows before an item enters, or after it leaves, the Czech Republic depends on the information foreign postal services send it.
Česká pošta says it’s on the shipping label, in the text or email message about the item, or on the notice left in your mailbox. You don’t need to match upper and lower case when you type it.
Balíkovna is run by Česká pošta itself. Besides partner shops and post offices, Balíkovna parcels can be collected from parcel boxes, including AlzaBox, OX Point and Penguin boxes, and home delivery is available too.
