About PostNord
PostNord is Sweden’s postal operator and a parcel carrier in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. In Denmark it has carried only parcels since it delivered its last letters there on 30 December 2025. Parcels are delivered to the door, to a service point or to a parcel locker.
PostNord was formed when Post Danmark A/S and Posten AB merged on June 24, 2009, and the group has been called PostNord AB since May 2011. For home delivery, PostNord Home and PostNord Home Small handle parcels up to 35 kg and lighter shipments up to 3 kg, while PostNord Service Point and PostNord Parcel Locker are its pickup options away from home.
Kargo Radar checks PostNord’s tracking service. Items mailed to Sweden from abroad, and parcels sent to Denmark, can often be looked up with the sender’s international tracking number.
What do PostNord tracking numbers look like?
You’ll find the tracking number on the label, the shipping receipt or the shipping details the sender gave you. The examples below only show the format.

Is the carrier detected automatically?
Swedish parcel numbers and international numbers ending in SE or DK are recognized automatically. Twenty-digit parcel IDs look like other carriers’ numbers, so choose PostNord for those; the form on this page already has it selected.

What do the tracking statuses mean?
Kargo Radar turns each carrier’s own status wording into six standard statuses, so packages from different carriers read the same way. Each event keeps the carrier’s own description in the history, or an English rendering for carriers that only report in their local language.
- Shipped
- The carrier has registered the shipment or picked it up from the sender. It may not have left yet.
- In transit
- The package is moving between facilities, countries or customs.
- Out for delivery
- The package is out for delivery, or it’s waiting to be collected at a branch, post office or pickup point.
- Delivered
- The package was handed to the recipient or collected from the pickup point.
- Delivery failed
- A delivery was attempted but not completed. The carrier’s next step shows up in the event history.
- Returned
- The package is on its way back to the sender, or it has already been returned.
Good to know about PostNord statuses
- Available for pickup
- The parcel is waiting at a service point or locker, so Kargo Radar shows Out for delivery.
- Delivery impossible
- PostNord couldn’t deliver the item. The status is Delivery failed.
- Notification sent
- Text and email notices are left out of the history because the parcel didn’t move.
PostNord customer support
PostNord Sweden’s guidance is that the sender normally files a complaint about a missing or delayed item, because they hold the receipt and drop-off details. For damage, the recipient files, because they have the item. Keep all packaging and contents for inspection, and leave the address label on.
You’ll need the Letter ID or Parcel ID and a description of the contents. File online or through customer service. Kargo Radar’s role ends at showing the status, so the complaint itself has to go to PostNord.

How do I track a PostNord parcel?

Can I track a parcel sent to Sweden or Denmark from abroad?
Often, yes. Enter the international tracking number from the sender on this page, which checks it with PostNord.
Why is my PostNord tracking not updating?
PostNord adds an event when the item is scanned at a terminal, on the delivery route or at the service point. Items from abroad can wait for customs or a transfer before the next event appears.
Does PostNord still deliver letters in Denmark?
No. PostNord delivered its last letters in Denmark on 30 December 2025 and now carries only parcels there. Since 2026 other companies, such as DAO, deliver letters in Denmark. In Sweden, PostNord still delivers letters and registered mail.
How do I open a PostNord parcel locker?
PostNord says you’re notified when your parcel arrives at the locker. To open it, stand near the locker with Bluetooth switched on and open the door with one tap on your phone. PostNord has more than 5,600 parcel lockers across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
Is there a weight limit for PostNord parcel lockers?
Yes. PostNord gives a maximum weight of 10 kg in Sweden, Denmark and Norway and 20 kg in Finland. Most of its lockers have 16 compartments in three sizes: small, medium and large.
Is PostNord tracking free?
Yes. Tracking on Kargo Radar is free and doesn’t require an account. Save the package in the app to get a notification when its status changes.
